Alain Vigneault, Head Coach for the Vancouver Canucks, has been granted a three year extension on his contract with the team. This extension would see Vigneault through to the 2012-2013 season.
Vancouver has won its sixth Northwest Division title with Vigneault behind the bench, making it his second in three years.
