Who hasn’t spent hours creating castles or a random structure or vehicle with those colourful little bricks? Flowing from an idea to have the Legend of Zelda video game series immortalized in Lego form. The Japanese web site Cuusoo has reached 10,000 supporters to have the toy company manufacture a fitting (no pun intended) tribute to The Legend of Zelda.
The drive started back in December 2011, the year of the series 25th anniversary, to gain the attention of fans world wide so they could submit their support for the idea. Of course it’s only an idea, but the digital mockups of the theme look too tantalizing to ignore.
With any luck, this support could bring Nintendo and Lego together for a never ending quest of enjoyment and interaction with the iconic plastic bricks. It is possible, seeing as there’s special themes and sets based on a number of popular franchises: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean.
More images of the accessories and weapons can be found on the Cuusoo web site.
