It’s official — Kingdom Hearts III is coming to the PlayStation 4, and in a surprising move, to the recently announced Xbox One console.

A brief trailer advertised at Sony’s E3 press conference shows the spikey-haired hero Sora on both the Destiny Islands and in Twilight Town versus a storm of Heartless wielding a different themed keyblade that isn’t the traditional Kingdom Key. The upgraded graphics in the video gives Sora a more refined look while utilizing some cel-shaded effects to preserve some of the animated qualities form the series. The menus and health icons retain their positions on the bottom corners of the screen and with the same data in the previous two games (Goofy and Donald included). As this is only intended to whet our appetites, expect many more changes to come before the final release.

No release date for Kingdom Hearts III was made available at press time.
