2014 Team Canada Hockey Jerseys
Three new designs for Team Canada

Hockey Canada, along with Nike, overhauled the jerseys giving them a simpler look, a nod to the sweaters worn in the past. Making use of Nike’s flywire technology to reduce seams, these jerseys will weigh 15% lighter than the ones worn during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Each jersey is manufactured from 73% recycled polyester and come with ventilation zones under the arms and on the sides to improve breathability. The neckline has been updated and include light-weight maple leaves over the shoulders and a faux-drawstring pattern on the front.

Three versions will be available — the red jersey has a white bar across the chest with a large maple leaf and “CANADA” underneath in small white letters. The white jersey is an inverted variation of the red jersey: it is all-white with a red bar in the middle with a white maple leaf and “CANADA” underneath in red letters. A red band encircles the left arm with a small Canadian flag. The third jersey is black and has a red bar, fringed in gold with “CANADA” emblazoned in white. A red band encircles the left arm with a gold maple leaf. 12 miniature gold maple leafs are placed on the lower left on the front of the jersey. All three jerseys have the Nike logo over the right breast and a Canadian Olympic Committee logo on the right arm.

The 2014 Winter Olympics will be held between February 7th-23rd, 2014 in Sochi, Russia.
