Come on down to the beautiful VanDusen Botanical Gardens this April for the Sakura Days Japan Fair! Enjoy multiple aspects of Japanese culture from the food, performances, interactive exhibits and products available for purchase all under the bloom of the sakura (cherry blossom).

Take part in a tea ceremony, learn the art of origami, master flower arrangement with ikebana or hone your haiku skills. Or just browse the blossoms budding on the trees in the gardens. There’s plenty of activities to for everyone to participate in.

Sakura Days Japan Fair spans April 5th to 6th, 2014 from 10:00 am PDT until 5:00 pm PDT. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door of the gardens.

As the festival takes place in the gardens, bring appropriate attire as it may be raining. Parking is limited, so save the hassle and take transit to reach VanDusen Botanical Gardens.
