Part of Nintendo’s E3 presentation included a brief clip of the next game in the Legend of Zelda series (not including Hyrule Warriors) for Wii U, which has a tentative release sometime in 2015.

Following a similar artistic style to that of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the upcoming game, which is without a title, will be set in more of an open-world setting.

Eiji Aonuma, provided a glimpse into the new immense environment that the new game will take place in. Highlighting the fact that the player can reach the mountains in the distance of the trailer, Aonuma added that the puzzle solving the Zelda series is so well known for, will begin even before the player reaches the dungeon.

While the idyllic landscape looks relatively tranquil, a new and frightening enemy blasts its way into the picture. Chasing a hooded figure on horseback, the new creature corners the rider and forces them to reveal themselves and their weapon. While the character bears similarities Link, it has yet to be confirmed the hero of the game.
