Naruto is back on the big screen for a limited time release this summer! The English dub of Road to Ninja – Naruto the Movie will be screened at select theatres in major cities across the United States on Friday, August 29^th, 2014.

Before the birth of Naruto, the Nine-Tailed Fox demon ravaged the Village Hidden in the Leaves, released by a mysterious masked shinobi. Together Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, and Kushina Uzumaki, his wife, subdued the beast, sealing it in their newly born child: Naruto. With the village saved, the defeated shinobi disappears.

With Naruto grown up, another threat has emerged — the return of the Akatsuki. The group once considered dead, is once again conquered, but this time by Naruto and his friends. While the village rejoices over the victory, Naruto encounters a shadowy figure, the very same shinobi behind the death of his parents.

Tickets for Road to Ninja – Naruto the Movie can be purchased starting Friday, July 11^th, 2014. A Canadian schedule was not mentioned in the press release.
