Now that the Christmas season is upon us, Bright Nights in Stanley Park returns to turn those dark December evenings into a magical display of colour and fun.
Some three million lights have been strung up by volunteers in the plaza outside of the Miniature Train and Klahowya Village. While the festive displays are free, donations are welcome and support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. A separate admission fee is required to ride the Miniature Train.
Bright Nights in Stanley Park runs until January 4th, 2015. Tickets for the Miniature Train and schedules can be found on the City of Vancouver web site.
Can’t make it out? You can enjoy the photos of the lights posted on Gallery.
