Nintendo has unveiled a limited collector’s edition box of the forthcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console to include a miniature Skull Kid figure.
A handful of retailers will have the limited edition figure and game for sale together at a suggested price of $49.99 and will be available the same day the game is released.
Posts on Twitter have highlighted how quickly retailers ran out of pre-orders of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Collector’s Edition.
Seriously? Preorders for special edition majoras mask already sold out? Not even 12 hours! Come on, @Nintendo, say it's not so. :(

A remake of the original Nintendo 64 title, Majora’s Mask throws a young Link in the midst of a world in chaos — a descending moon threatens the land of Termina with destruction in three days. Classic items and weapons join new tools to help Link overcome puzzles and tasks that are all intertwined into the lives of the residents.
A launch date for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D has not been made available.
