Boruto: Naruto the Movie

Canadian Naruto fans will be able catch Boruto: Naruto the Movie on the big screen. According to Cineplex’s web site, there will be limited showings at select theatres across the country on Saturday, October 10th, 2015. Only two locations in the Metro Vancouver region will be screening this ninja adventure (Burnaby’s SilverCity Metropolis and downtown Vancouver’s Cineplex Odeon International Village), so be sure to act fast!

Canada was skipped over for a release of The Last: Naruto the Movie which premiered in US theatres earlier this year. The last Naruto film shown in Canadian cinemas was Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie in September 2014.

With the Hidden Leaf Village preparing for the annual Chunin Exams, ninja from five allied villages are lined up to prove themselves capable of passing the grueling tests. Boruto, along with Sasuke’s daughter Sarada and the enigmatic Mitsuki, are lined up for the shinobi’s assessment. Boruto, looking to surpass his father, begs for Sasuke to train him so he can achieve his goal.

In the midst of the Chunin Exams, Naruto is attacked by two shadowy figures from another dimension, the same people Sasuke was fighting years befoe. Before disappearing, Naruto entrusts Boruto to Sasuke. What evil power awaits Boruto, Sasuke and the Five Kage? Will Naruto survive? It’s sure to be an action-packed experience!
