Pokémon Sun and Moon unveiled

With the Pokémon franchise celebrating 20 years this month, Nintendo announced through their Pokémon Direct live streaming video two new titles for Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

Details on the upcoming games are. However, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will take advantage of Pokémon Bank to transfer creatures acquired in the digital re-releases ofPokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow. Pokémon caught in Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y can also use this method too. Pokémon Bank is a paid storage service.

Two new languages join the existing seven in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. The nine available languages are English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and now both traditional and simplified Chinese.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon have an expected release date of late 2016.
