Alex Burrows sealed the St. Louis Blues’ fate on Tuesday night, scoring with less than 20 seconds left in the first overtime. Burrows, along with Kyle Wellwood, had the Canucks in the lead until Brad Boyes and David Perron on the Blues tied things up, with goals three minutes apart. The Blues put pressure on the Canucks, but were unable to beat them, losing 3-2 in overtime.
This is the first time the Vancouver Canucks have ever sweeped a round in the playoffs taking four games straight without a loss.
