I’ve got quite the collection of anime-themed t-shirts, with the majority being from Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, and Death Note. Here’s a selection of some of my favourites, in no particular order.
Looking to buy some yourself? The dealer’s room/exhibition halls at anime conventions are a great place to start, or you can visit your local Hot Topic, fye, or check out Stylin’ Online.
I like this shirt, even though the 100% cotton fabric is much thinner than most. Sasuke’s face and upper body is presented in profile surrounded with red clouds, while two red shuriken appear on the lower right back. The shirt is really nice and light and (I think) it looks good. Made by Ripple Junction.
An action sequence of the Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, this cotton t-shirt has both as a full-sized image on the front. It’s a very bold design, especially with Edward in process of performing a transmutation. Made by Hybrid.
Naruto’s signature move. No less than fourteen images of Naruto in various poses make up the front of this cotton shirt. This is one of my favourites and I’ve seen many others with it, so it’s a popular one too! Made by Ripple Junction.
10th division Captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya assumes a battle-ready stance with his sword drawn next to a stylized rendition of his name in Japanese. Hitsugaya’s pose is on the lower right front of the shirt. A small Bleach logo appears above the cuff on the left sleeve. Made by Ripple Junction.
An older shirt, Edward and Alphonse Elric make a return on the back, separated by large flamel (you know, that snake on the cross with the winged crown) with Fullmetal Alchemist in both Japanese and English. The front of the shirt features a smaller white flamel. Made by ODM.
Light Yagami belts out one his famous maniacal laughs while the shinigami, Ryuk, looks on. This creepy shirt also has the Death Note logo at the top done with a silver glitter print. Like they say: oooh, shiny!
