It was a big night for the Vancouver Canucks as they took on the Colorado Avalanche in the Mile High City.

Alexandre Bolduc scored his first NHL goal to get the Canucks on the board in the opening period.

Colorado’s Paul Stastny managed to sneak one by Roberto Luongo, but that was it.

Mason Raymond, who returned from sitting out the last ten games with an injured thumb, gave the Canucks the go ahead goal in the final minutes of the game.

Luongo made 31 saves on the night in the 2 – 1 victory which vaulted his team into the number one spot in the NHL with 53 points.
