There’s still time left to catch the best of Studio Ghibli flicks at the Vancity Theatre. Castles in the Sky: The Masters of Studio Ghibli celebrates the wonderful animation from Studio Ghibli, a Japanese studio established by Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata and Toshio Suzuki in 1985. The films from this institution have captivated audiences around the world.
Titles being screened will be presented in their English dub and include: Castle in the Sky, The Cat Returns, Howl’s Moving Castle, Kiki’s Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Pom Poko, Ponyo, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Whisper of the Heart.
