Aniplex of America made a special announcement at Sakura-Con on Saturday regarding the English cast of Sword Art Online. Kirito will be voiced by Bryce Papenbrook with Cherami Leigh as Asuna. Information about the remaining English voices were not made available.

Papenbrook has voiced Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist, Masaomi Kida in Durarara!! and Zidane Tribal in Dissidia Final Fantasy. Leigh has performed as Patty Thompson in Soul Eater, Kneesocks in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and Lucy Heartfilia in Fairy Tail.

No dates for when the dubbed version of Sword Art Online will be released in North America. The original Japanese release can be viewed on Crunchyroll (Canada and USA) and Hulu (USA only).
