Sword Art Online is coming to a new manga format this summer in Japan. Artist Kiseki Himura is working on a graphical recitation of Reki Kawahara’s and abec’s original light novel series that will appear in the August edition of Dengeki G’s Magazine from ASCII Media Works.

This new manga follows Kirito as he and his friends explore each individual level of immense world of Aincrad. In order to leave the game, players must complete all 100 levels and defeat the boss; should they fail, not only will their in-game avatar die, but so will their body in the real world.
