Don’t expect Jannik Hansen to be going anywhere anytime soon after signing a four year contract with the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday, September 29th, 2013.

During the shortened 2012-2013 season, the 27 year-old Dane scored 10 goals, 17 assists and 27 points in 47 games. Hansen has spent his NHL career with Vancouver, spanning six seasons and accumulating 131 points — 50 goals, 81 assists and 131 penalty minutes. Hansen has played in 58 NHL playoff games, tallying up 5 goals, 9 assists and 14 points.

The Vancouver Canucks picked Hansen in the 7th round, 287th overall during the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
