Big Hero 6 to become playable level in upcoming Kingdom Hearts III game

A new world for the in progress Kingdom Hearts III has been revealed this past Sunday at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. In a video posted to YouTube, Roy Conli, producer for Walt Disney Animation Studios, introduced the city of San Fransokyo from the movie Big Hero 6 as a playable level.

Concept artwork from the game portrays Sora riding an armoured Baymax fighting an evil version of the healthcare robot over the skies of the metropolis. No further details on the level or characters were mentioned.

D23 Expo is a biennial event for the Walt Disney Company to give fans an update on the many projects the media giant is working on; everything from movies and television and video games to its theme parks and attractions. D23 Expo was held August 14th through 16th, 2015.

Work on Kingdom Hearts III is still underway; no release date was mentioned and will be available on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
