YURI!!! on ICE movie to be released in 2019

A feature-length film of popular ice skating anime series, YURI!!! On ICE is coming in 2019. Titled YURI!!! on ICE the movie : ICE ADOLESCENCE was announced at the end of the YURI!!! on ICE concert in Osaka, Japan on July 1st, 2018.

A brief trailer shows Yuri Katsuki’s Russian coach, Victor Nikiforov and his pet dog Makkachin, walking on a sandy beach before closing out with the staff credits. The story is written by Mitsurou Kubo and Sayo Yamamoto, with Yamamoto as director. Characters are designed by Tadashi Hiramatsu, based on the original designs by Kubo. The music will be composed by Taro Umebayashi and Taku Matsuhiba, with Keisuke Tominaga on the piano.
