Fourth season of Haikyu!! anime announced

Promotional artwork for season four of Haikyu!!.

The anime based on Haruichi Furudate’s popular volleyball manga, Haikyu!!, is getting a fourth season. Announced during the Jump Festa event, it included new artwork with the main characters Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama.

This also coincides with the Haikyu!! anime’s fifth anniversary.

A specific date of when the new season starts was not provided.

My Hero Academia’s Deku added to Jump Force

The roster for Jump Force increases with the arrival of U.A. High School’s prodigy student: Izuku “Deku” Midoriya.

Jump Force launches on February 15th, 2019 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

My Hero Academia season 4 to air October 2019

Shortly after the conclusion of the third season of My Hero Academia, a fourth season was announced, but lacked a date. While an official day was not specified, the fourth season of My Hero Academia is scheduled to air October 2019 in Japan.

This season airs much later than the previous season (which began in April 2018) and is likely due to a broadcast conflict.

Accompanying the date was a new visual featuring Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and Mirio Togata.

Asta joins Jump Force roster

There’s a new addition to Bandai Namco’s upcoming shonen fighter Jump Force: Black Clover‘s Asta.

No additional details were provided, aside from Asta wielding anti-magic swords.

Jump Force launches on February 15th, 2019 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

VanDusen Gardens glows for Festival of Lights 2018

With the holiday season in high gear, the VanDusen Botanical Gardens in Vancouver are decked out in millions of Christmas lights for another year of the Festival of Lights.

The Festival of Lights is on now until January 6th, 2019. Tickets are required for entry and available online or in person. Dress appropriately as it may be cold or wet. Parking is limited, but transit is always an option (either with the 17 bus or a short walk north from the 41 bus).

Kingdom Hearts III opening video released

With only a month and a half left before the launch of Kingdom Hearts III, Sqaure-Enix has unveiled the opening cinematic featuring the song Face My Fears by Utada Hikaru and Skrillex.

Kingdom Hearts III has a release date of January 29th, 2019 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Joker from Persona 5 joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

During The Game Awards on December 6th, 2018, Nintendo announced a new player to join the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster: Joker from Persona 5.

Joker is the first of five DLC packs planned for the title; each DLC pack includes one new fighter, one new stage and music. Each pack is priced at $5.99 USD, or $24.99 USD ($31.49 CAD) for all under the Fighter’s Pass.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released for Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018.

Persona 5 was released April 4th, 2017 on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
