Young Hachimaru dreams of becoming a samurai one day, but struggles to run and can’t even eat solid food; relying on his father for support. However, Hachimaru’s dreams quickly turn into reality when a samurai cat appears before him, giving him an opportunity to achieve his aspirations.
Volume 1 of the Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru manga, written by Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Akira Okubo, goes on sale in North America on March 3rd, 2020 from Viz Media.
Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan on May 13th, 2019.
