An announcement as part of the 20th anniversary of Bleach by Tite Kubo was expected at AnimeJapan 2020, but is now being rescheduled as an online broadcast. AnimeJapan was cancelled this year due to COVID-19 virus that has affected many countries in recent weeks.
On Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at 9:45 am JST (that’s 5:45 pm PDT on Friday, March 20th, 2020), both the JUMP CHANNEL (in Japanese) and shonenjump_official (in English) YouTube channels will stream the video. A countdown on the official web site lists the time remaining to when the video will begin, along with links to the afore mentioned YouTube channels.
During the video, the editor-in-chief of Shonen Jump and the voice cast for the Bleach anime will present the anniversary announcement along with details regarding Tite Kubo’s latest project.
