Crunchyroll has revealed a new promotional video for their upcoming series Tower of God, which begins streaming on their platform Wednesday, April 1st, 2020.
Tower of God is one of eight series that make up Crunchyroll Originals, and is based on the comic series of the same name by SIU and presented by WEBTOON. In this show, a young man confined beneath a foreboding tower enters the structure in hopes of finding his missing friend. This dark fantasy adventure involves him exploring the tower, fighting off its denizens, meeting new friends on the way and learning of what makes this structure so infernal.
Crunchyroll also provided the Japanese vocal cast for Tower of God, with:
- Khun Aguero Agnes is voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto
- Rak Wraithraiser is voiced by Kenta Miyake
- Yuri Jahad is voiced by Mariko Honda
- Anaak Jahad is voiced by Akira Sekine
- Endorsi Jahad is voiced by Rie Suegara
- Hatz is voiced by Toshinari Fukamachi
- Shibisu is voiced by Takuya Eguchi
- Evan Edroch is voiced by Kazuyuki Okitsu
Some of the cast also shared some of their thoughts on Tower of God; with Nobuhiko Okamoto, who voices Khun Aguero Agnes, saying “He’s smart. He’s a strategist. It’s a fun role that involves figuring out how to incorporate as much of his true meaning as possible while aloofly striking poses. I’d like to tell those who are about to watch the series to try to feel it rather than use their heads to comprehend it.”
Rie Suegara explained her character Endorsi Jahad “…is a touch sadistic. She loves to fan the flames… But maybe that’s part of her plan. She’s also a clever character who possesses a lot of delicacy. Due to how she was pushed around by fate, she was also forced to become stronger. That’s the kind of girl she is.”
Tower of God is available only on Crunchyroll.
