Digimon Adventure, the first in the franchise, is returning to Japanese television on Sunday, April 5th, 2020.
The series is underwent updates to bring it into 2020, where Taichi Yagami and Agumon will journey through new scenarios and encounters with his friends and fellow Digimon.
New songs were also announced, with Takayoshi Tanimoto performing “Unidentified Airship” for the opening, while the ending theme is “Seeds of Regret” by Chiai Fujikawa.
The show is being animated by Toei Animation and will be broadcast on Fuji TV.
Digimon Adventure originally aired in 1999 in Japan and was renamed as Digimon: Digital Monsters for North America.
