As concern increases over the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival has announced the cancellation of the Sakura Days Japan Fair next month.
The yearly springtime festival was planned for the weekend of April 18th-19th, 2020 at the VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver.
The decision to not continue with the event for this year was shared on the festival web site and that the organizers look forward to hosting again in 2021.
Sakura Days Japan Fair is a two day event to celebrate the pink cherry blossoms that bloom ins spring with Japanese food, music, entertainment and shopping.
