In response to reduced demand due to the COVID-19 outbreak, BC Ferries has announced further reductions to sailings, including closure of some terminals.
Sailings between Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver and Departure Bay in Nanaimo are cancelled until further notice, as is the Brentwood Bay – Mill Bay route. Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay are now down to four trips daily. Duke Point – Tsawwassen is running at eight sailings: four for general public and four for commercial and essential service workers only. Northern routes are limited to their off-peak winter service.
As conditions change, refer to BC Ferries travel advisories page for the latest on available routes and times.
All on-board services — food, shopping and entertainment — are suspended to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Customers who held reservations on any cancelled sailings will receive refunds. BC Ferries asks that passengers refrain from non-essential travel for the time being.
