Being stuck at home leaves us with longing about getting far away from all the chaos and confusion surrounding us today. With such destinations as a fantasy world, a dystopian future or maybe deep within inside ourselves, it’s all too tempting to dream about.

Fortunately, the team at Crunchyroll has that covered, coming up with a list of shows to take us out of reality and into the wondrous worlds depicted in the anime series they’ve shared below.

Attack on Titan
Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!

They could not be killed unless their hearts, which were protected by a layer of iron, were pierced. These undead, which would later be known as “Kabane,” exploded in population until they finally overran the world. The people of Hinomoto, built fortresses known as “stations” that have allowed them to survive the threat of the Kabane.
