April Full Moon

Two photos of April 2020’s “pink” full moon

While the full moon this evening wasn’t pink, it was still spectacular. With my Nikon D610 and 55-300 mm zoom lens mounted on a tripod, I managed to snap a few good pictures of our lunar neighbour.

Fully zoomed in at 300 mm, and playing with the f-stop and exposure time, I selected these two photos as my favourites in showing off the moon’s cratered surface.

Both images were run through Adobe Photoshop and cropped to better bring out the moon’s details.
