Nintendo revealed a new adventure involving Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach titled Paper Mario: The Origami King which is to release on July 17th, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch.

Princess Peach has invited Mario and Luigi as guests to the Mushroom Kingdom’s origami festival, but something’s amiss. The princess is not her usual self as King Olly of the Origami Kingdom has sought to take control of the Mushroom Kingdom. With the castle wrapped in streamers, King Olly has even entrapped Bowser’s own flunkies to advance his conquest. Mario must work with familiar friends and even foes and learn some new skills on his way to crumple King Olly’s evil schemes.

How well crafted the world in Paper Mario: The Origami King looks.

A new ring-based battle system requires smarts over strength to organize enemies to inflict the most damage. Just because they’re paper, doesn’t mean they’ll fold so easily.

The world is anything but flat, with detailed, colourful environments filled with mini-games and side-quests for added fun and excitement.

Paper Mario: The Origami King has a suggested retail price of $59.99 USD.
