This morning, Masahiro Sakurai, director for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, held a 35-minute video revealing Min Min as the newest fighter for the Nintendo Switch game.

Recorded in his own home, Sakurai introduced the ramen-inspired puncher as the 81st playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Min Min is from the fighting game ARMS that was released for the Nintendo Switch in June 2017. In ARMS, players can battle each other up close or used ranged attacks with spring-like customizable arms to deliver hard hitting punches.

Starting out as an employee at the Mintendo Noodle House, Min Min has fought her way up to the ARMS Grand Prix. With her three extendable, individually controlled arms: the Ramram, the Megawatt and Dragon ARM, Min Min is a force to be reckoned with in the ring.

Accompanying Min Min is her own stage: Spring Stadium. As in the ARMS game itself, fighters can find themselves taking damage from the walls if using the jumping platforms. Being launched into a ceiling can also redirect unwitting foes. Keep an eye out for those ARMS drones dropping off items.

Min Min is part of Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which is $37.79 CAD ($29.99 USD); the character is also available individually for purchase.

Min Min, her stage, and 18 new musical tracks becomes available for download on Monday, June 29th, 2020.
