Toei Animation announced today that both Digimon Adventure: and One Piece are resuming their broadcast beginning on Sunday, June 28th, 2020.
The announcement was made via Toei Animation’s social media channels, including Twitter.
To all our fans,
We’re happy to announce that both “One Piece” & our brand-new series, “Digimon Adventure:” will resume their broadcast in Japan, starting on June 28th! Both series will also resume on simulcast streaming accordingly. New episodes of “Digimon Adventure:” will begin from episode #4 and “One Piece” will kick-off its new episode run with episode #930. Thank you for your patience. Please continue to stay safe and healthy. Welcome back!
Both shows were placed on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic; Japan had introduced strict measures limiting non-essential travel, thus affecting companies from continue to produce anime.
Digimon Adventure: will begin with episode four, while One Piece will pick up at episode 930.
