The original release for the Blu-ray/DVD of Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna is now pushed back to October 6th, 2020 with a digital release planned for September 29th, 2020.
A tweet from Toei Animation explains that the feature film will be available in Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English on the following platforms: Amazon Prime Video, Microsoft Store, PlayStation Network and iTunes.
Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna takes place approximately five years after the events of Digimon Adventure tri. with the Digidestined reunited with their Digimon partners. Upon reaching adulthood, the Digidestined have realized their Digimon won’t be around forever and try to spend as much time with them. Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna was shown in Japanese theatres on Friday, February 21st, 2020. In the US, Fathom Events organized viewings at selected theatres on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020.
