On the first day of their two-day FunimationCon convention, Funimation revealed that they have added all 220 episodes of the original Naruto anime to their streaming platform.

Naruto is split into two series: the first which involves the ninja when he’s younger before exploring his adventures as an adolescent in Naruto Shippuden. The manga by Masashi Kishimoto, which the anime is based off of, doesn’t make the same distinction between Naruto Uzumaki’s age.

This does not include the 500 episodes of Naruto Shippuden; it’s unclear if Funimation will also stream those in the future.

Viz Media holds the publishing and distribution rights of the Naruto franchise in North America; the anime is available on multiple streaming services including Crunchyroll and Hulu; it was also broadcast on US television networks, such as Adult Swim.

FunimationCon is a free, virtual convention being held Friday, July 3rd through Saturday, July 4th, 2020.
