Viz Media recently released the cover artwork for the upcoming Naruto Triple Feature Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and has opted to go with a design from a famed comic book artist according to posts made on social media.

Instead of opting for the Japanese artwork to decorate the case, Viz Media had chosen Filipino-American comic book artist Whilce Portacio to create a fanciful illustration with the characters from Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. Comic fans will easily recognize Portacio’s style, especially from Marvel with Uncanny X-Men and Major X, as well as from DC Comics with Batman Confidential, Batman/Superman and Wetworks.

This collector’s set contains two Blu-ray discs of three full length Naruto films: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow, Legend of the Stone of Gelel, and Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom. Also included is the 11-minute long Hidden Leaf Village Grand Sports Festival animation short. The movies come in both Japanese and English audio and English subtitles.

Naruto Triple Feature Collector’s Edition becomes available on October 6th, 2020 in both a steelbook case and standard edition.
