This afternoon it was announced that Canadian voice actor Kirby Morrow has died at age 47 on Thursday, November 19th, 2020.

Morrow, who was from Alberta, was well known for his role as the lecherous monk Miroku in Inuyasha, one he was set to reprise in the follow-up series Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. He also voiced Goku in Dragon Ball Z, Trowa Barton in Gundam Wing, Cyclops in X-Men: Evolution, and appeared in the television series Stargate Atlantis as Captain Dave Kleinman.

A cause of death was not mentioned.

Fans and colleagues shared memories of his work in tributes online.
