Anime fans looking to catch up on their favourite shows between playing Pokémon Sword and Animal Crossing: New Horizons now with the Funimation app on the Nintendo Switch.

It’s the first anime app (pictured above) for the portable console, and while free to download, does require a Funimation Premium account to watch content.

Funimation is also working on releasing the app on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X in the near future.

While gamers in Canada and the United States can download it through the Nintendo eShop, those in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Mexico will need to wait just a little longer.

Funimation, which is owned by Sony, recently announced they were acquiring competing anime streaming service Crunchyroll.
