All aboard! Funimation, through its parent Aniplex, has uploaded a brief trailer dubbed in English for the animated film Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train ahead of a planned release in North American theatres this year.

Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train topped the charts in Japan overtaking another anime film, Spirited Away, to become number one in the island nation.

The English version of the film includes the voice talents of Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado, Abby Trott as his sister Nezuko, Aleks Le as fellow Demon Slayer Zenitsu Agatsuma, Bryce Papenbrook as the boar-masked Inosuke Hashibira, Mark Whitten as the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and Landon McDonald as the villainous Enmu (Lower One). Guiding the cast are Steve Staley as the English voice director with Lucien Dodge as ADR script writer.

No official date was released, however the trailer mentions that Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train is expected in cinemas across Canada and the United States early in 2021. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic may be providing some uncertainty surrounding a solid date as many theatre chains (at least in Canada) remain closed.

Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train was released in Japan on October 16th, 2020.
