E3, the largest event in video games, is a go for 2021 and Nintendo has announced they are hosting a 40-minute long Nintendo Direct live stream at 9:00 am PDT (12:00 pm EDT) on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021.

Upon conclusion of the Direct live stream, Nintendo Treehouse Live will take over, offering an three-hour look at selected Nintendo Switch titles. Treehouse is Nintendo’s way of sharing more details of upcoming games with their internal team that handles localization and quality assurance testing.

Nintendo mentioned that the video will mostly highlight games launching in 2021 and fans are hoping for a glimpse at new Switch hardware and an update on the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

This year, E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is virtual after skipping 2020 where large-scale gatherings were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It runs June 12th-15th, 2021.
