The winds are perfect with Fena: Pirate Princess setting sail on August 14th, 2021 on Adult Swim and Crunchyroll. Adult Swim will broadcast the English-dubbed version on their television channel, while Crunchyroll will stream the subtitled episodes outside of Japan.

In anticipation of the launch of Fena: Pirate Princess, Crunchyroll has shared a new trailers and some scenes from the series.

Young orphan Fena Houtman is fleeing two fearsome fleets: bloodthirsty pirates and the dreaded English Royal Navy. They want something she’s the key to: a lost treasure beyond their wildest dreams. Fena places her trust in a steadfast crew of Japanese samurai as they try to outpace their foes while uncovering more about her family’s past.

Crunchyroll has also revealed the English vocal cast as part of their press release.

  • Alan Lee as the voice of the culinary-skilled Tsubaki
  • Thomas E Wynn as the voice of brass knuckle-bearing Makaba
  • Frank Todaro as the voice of the fearsome knight Salman
  • Doug Stone as the voice of the terrifying swordsman Otto

Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll and Adult Swim (both owned by WarnerMedia) have created this original anime series under the direction of Kazuto Nakazawa (DaysSamurai Champloo) and with animation by Production I.G (NoblesseHaikyu!!). Each episode is a half-hour in length.
