Cue the mini donuts, SuperDogs and rides as the Pacific National Exhibition returns to Hastings Park for its 111th year running from Saturday, August 21st until Monday, September 6th, 2021 (excluding Monday, August 23rd and Monday, August 30th).

This year, the PNE will operate at a reduced capacity to meet the local health authority requirements. This includes limiting attendance with pre-purchased tickets, no “in-and-out” privileges, and social distancing at events. Masks are optional, but not required.

Fun for the whole family, the PNE hosts musical shows on the Coca Cola Stage, kids entertainment at BCAA ToonCity, agricultural displays in the barns, with the SuperDogs and nightly fireworks in the PNE Amphitheatre. Food is a huge part of the PNE, with Jimmy’s Lunch and Hunky Bills serving up fair favourites of burgers and perogies, and of course, those delightful mini donuts. A piece of BC history is also on display: a small segment of the Challenger Map, a wooden relief map of our province that was featured in the former BC Pavilion until 1997. Most of the rides in Playland are open, minus the wooden roller coaster which is undergoing some much needed maintenance.

Tickets are available for purchase online and are only good for the day selected; passes for Playland rides include an extra fee.

As parking at Hastings Park is limited, taking transit is advised. Use TransLink’s Trip Planner to find the best route to the PNE.
