Bandai Namco to end support for Jump Force on PS4/Xbox One/PC/Switch in 2022

Bandai Namco has announced they are ending digital sales and online services for the video game Jump Force in 2022.

According to a post shared on Instagram, digital sales of the Shonen Jump brawler for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch consoles will end at 5:00 PM PST on February 7th, 2022.

Online services, such as accessing the multiplayer lobby, online events, clan functions, viewing leaderboards and notice boards, acceptance of rewards, purchases from the in-game store and premium shop, ranked matches, will cease at 6:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022.

Fans can still play Jump Force locally on their systems and enjoy previously purchased and downloaded content, as well as well online battles with friends, excluding ranked matches.

In Jump Force, gamers can pick from a large roster of popular characters from Weekly Shonen Jump, to fight against either online against others globally, or single-player story mode. Playable characters include big names from Black Clover, Bleach, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, Fist of the North Star, Hunter x Hunter, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, My Hero Academia, Naruto, One Piece, Rurouni Kenshin, Saint Seiya, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Jump Force was launched on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in February 2019, followed by the release of the Deluxe Edition, which was bundled with additional DLC, for the Nintendo Switch in August 2020.
