The flick My Hero Academia: The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission has taken in over $10 million USD in revenue for the North American market since it opened on October 29th, 2021 according to Funimation.

It is the eleventh movie to top the $10 million mark in anime films.

My Hero Academia: The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission first premiered in Japanese theatres on August 6th, 2021 and grossed $29,257,746 USD — the most out of the three films in the series.

Funimation, a subsidiary of Aniplex, handled the English-dubbed version of the movie along with the distribution in Canada and the United States.

The terrorist organization Humarize plans to eradicate all humans with quirks as they look to rebuild the world. Pro-heroes call up the students from U.A. High School to help as they hunt for Humarize’s leader, Flect Turn in an effort to stop his plan from succeeding. However, Izuku “Deku” Midoriya is wanted by the authorities and finds himself on the run with the unlikeliest of partners…

Tickets for the heroic action of the U.A. High School students in their biggest mission yet are still available at select Cineplex locations across Canada, with showings in Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English.

I just saw it for a second time this evening and plan to go back again for a third. Plus Ultra!
