In an effort to woo back customers onto transit following 20 months of low ridership due to the global pandemic, TransLink has announced their Tap in to Win sweepstakes where riders can enter to win prizes just by tapping in with their Compass Card.
By registering their Compass Card (loaded with a stored value or Monthly Pass), passengers are automatically entered when they use their card (aka tap) when paying for a fare on a bus or at a station; there’s no limit on how many times a person can enter. Not a transit rider, or uncomfortable hopping on a bus or SkyTrain? There’s a no purchase entry form to download, print off and mail in from the official contest web site.
Prize draws are held every month during the contest period. Up for grabs are two electric bikes, five Compass Cards with a Monthly Pass loaded for 12 months, a BC Ferries vacation package, 15 packages for local hotels, restaurants and attractions, a sports fan experience package and a Uniglobe flight voucher.
