Square Enix has uploaded yet another video of the two Kingdom Hearts titles coming to the PlayStation 4 in the near future: Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III.

The five-and-a-half minute teaser shown at Jump Festa 2015 gives a closer look at the collection of games and cinematics that make up Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue — a remastered version of the Nintendo 3DS title Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, a visual story called Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ Back Cover and a short adventure from Aqua’s view in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage–.

The Oathkeeper keyblade from Kingdom Hearts forged into reality

The team at MAN AT ARMS: REFORGED have done it again! By popular demand, they have recreated another keyblade from the Kingdom Hearts video game series: the Oathkeeper.

A complex and visually impractical weapon (in reality at least), the Oathkeeper is just one of many keyblades in Sora’s arsenal. Formed after Kairi presents him with a memento, the blade is meant to signify the friendship the two share.

In this episode of Man At Arms: Reforged, the folks from Baltimore Knife and Sword have taken the time and effort to duplicate this intricate design. The video documents the whole process of the Oathkeeper: from design to destruction… of innocent melons and water bottles. This isn’t a cheap replica; it’s a sturdy, beautiful reproduction.

San Japan: Mach 5

Texas is all about big things. And there’s nothing like a burgeoning convention to live up to its home state’s image. San Japan: Mach 5 moved into its largest location this year: the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in downtown San Antonio during the weekend (Friday included) of August 10th – 12th, 2012. In 5 short years, the convention has exceeded expectations and established itself as the place to cosplay and catch up on all things Japanese and will continue to do so well into the future. Because of the speed in which San Japan has grown, the theme for 2012 was a tribute to Speed Racer’s car, the Mach 5. Continue reading San Japan: Mach 5
